With the button pressed, rotate the head and gently pull the filter housing away from the rest of the vacuum..The filter housing and cleaning head should now be separated from the motor and handle.
You shouldn’t need to use force to perform this step.If the filter housing doesn’t detach, you may need to adjust the rotation to unlock it..
